How to Measure Yourself for a Jenny Yoo Bridesmaids Dress

Measurements & Sizing

In order to ensure the best possible fit, we highly recommend measurements be taken at an authorized Jenny Yoo retailer or a professional tailor. If you are unable to get measured professionally, please follow these guidelines using a soft measuring tape. Make sure to keep the tape snug but not tight when measuring. Also, make sure to always measure over your undergarments for the most accurate fit.

Find Your Size

Refer to the appropriate chart below and decide which size you fit into best. Please note the measurements below are for your body, not the garment. Your usual dress size may vary from your size at Jenny Yoo. If measurements fall between two sizes, the larger size is the way to go! It is always easier to take a garment in than letting it out. Jenny Yoo Bridesmaid dresses are standard “long” length, made to fit most heights and heels. The dresses are made-to-order using standard industry sizes; they are not custom-made to your specific measurements. Please anticipate alterations for that perfect fit.

Jenny Yoo does not provide tailoring services and are not responsible for any alterations made after you receive the garment from us. If you have any sizing questions, please call us at 212.645.0823 and we’d be happy to recommend your closest size.

How to choose the appropriate style for a pregnant bridesmaid.

There are many dress options that are appropriate for different stages of one’s pregnancy. Usually if you are up to 4 months pregnant, a standard bridesmaid dress can be ordered in a larger size to match the rest of the bridal party. If you plan on being more than 5-6 months pregnant, we highly recommend choosing one of our maternity styles since they allow for more room through the belly. Please also keep in mind that bust sizes will increase during the pregnancy and post pregnancy (if breastfeeding) and should be considered when ordering the appropriate size.

If preferred, you may submit an individual order at a later time; however, orders placed after the group have no guarantee of being cut from the same dye lot and may include applicable rush fees. For help finding appropriate sizing please contact us.

Flower Girls

Flower Girl dresses are ordered by standard sizes (2T to 10). If you are unable to get measured at one of our locations, please refer to the list of measurements that need to be taken in order to determine the appropriate size. The Flower Girl Dresses are tea-length. If you would like to request that the dress be made longer, we can accommodate additional length of 3” for an additional fee of $35. Please make sure to indicate at the time of order. Once a dress has been placed the additional length cannot be added.
